..........did I tell you that The Bongo never ceases to amaze me..........?:D

It has such a full bodied Hugh sound........I run a 350 watt head, and I could not imagine the sound with a 900 or 1200 watt head.

As it is, it fills the Church with so much tone and is just a joy to play.

It is without a doubt the most powerful Bass on the planet......

Thanks again Big Poppa..........:)

Yeah, me, too!

Thanks again, Sterling and Dudley. I would be forced to rely on talent alone if I didn't have the tone of my Bongos. And that would be most unfortunate.

From the "skinny" string side: That's really the ONLY bass I want in my band.

It's a "rifle" shot wrapped up in a huge, soft, warm cloud!

All I can say is,. . . . "get a 900w head and turn it up!!!"

I totally agree. After I finished playing last Wednesday night at church I asked the sound man how the Bongo sounded.

His response and I quote, "Awesome."

You can't do better than that.

The Bongo has Chromes on it and was being played through a LMKII into an Eden CX110.

I love this bass!:D

Ain't that the truth.

It's really great to have an instrument that not only sounds awesome but makes the player sound awesome as well....:D

At a gig this weekend there was a mix up and we had to play in a very small bar.So small i didn't use my amp.I just put bongo through the desk and back into my vocal monitor. The eq on the bongo was great i could dial up a really nice tone that i am pretty sure i would not have been able to do with any other bass.

i did miss my LM rig,but the bongo still rocked !!

I have this ancient padded Kustom....It's maybe 400w, and I never cared for it w/ my old pbass. Let me tell you, I used it for a rehearsal/jam this weekend w/ my Bongo. What a tone!! It was killer - by the end of the session, my hands were aching, but I did not want to stop!! Too much fun.:D:cool:

Thanks BP, Pete, and Tommy - I love my Bongo!

BrandonS,

If we stick together we can hold em off. And if need be, we'll call on Phatty for re-inforcements.
