Hey guys,

I got my Axis 20 days ago. Right after I got it I was so dissappointed because i bought it BRAND NEW and there were two stress cracks near the neck joint and the pickup switch is a broken one. I was freakin'out because i expected it should be perfect.

I'm not in US but bought in US so the warrenty is gone since it has been out from US.That also means I have to keep it anyways and repair the switch on my own. what a sad feeling, taking my new guitar to find a repair guy.

But as soon as I started playing it all the annoying feeling is gone. And today I just realized I'm so attached to it even though I havent heard her voice so far due to the broken switch... i think i ll get it fixed soon cauz the new switch is coming and by then
i ll be loving it more! maybe this is because EB guitars are well made, neck is really fast. But the main reason i guess is the longer you play a guitar, more emotional attachment you have with it. i just understand that why Yngwie still use his 72' stats and Steve Vai still use EVO as his main axs. they are emotionally attached to them because they give them lives.

Dude, contact customer service and see what they have to say. The stress cracks are nothing major. The switch you never know they might be able to help you out.

Glad to hear that you love the guitar. :)

I got stress cracks in my Axis SS. But they are just cosmetic. She still plays and sounds like a dream. Don't sweat it mate.

+1 on the customer service for the switch. They are always cool and do their best to help.

Send us some pics.

Cheers,

Jonny.

But even if the CS agrees to help me with the switch, i still have to pay the shipping fees to send it back to California, right?
