Now that the chance to buy a MOG bass is gone forever, I wanna thank all you knuckleheads who tirelessly lobbied in this forum for what eventually became the DD.

I wanna thank BP and the EBMM family for taking yet another risk on basses in a color that does not sell well and for offering something that is much more than a bass painted green.

Thankee!

Speaking for myself, you're welcome. :D But I sure didn't expect it to be what it is, a playable piece of art, just beautiful.

Should I play it or frame it?

Believe me, this baby is made to play! And, it's awfully collectible.

think we need another martini party at Jack's so we can come up with something new to get people worked up about

We'll figure out something at the Big Bash, Johnny boy!

Whatever it is you'll lobby for next, please wait a few more months. Three MMs in one year is hard on the pocketbook.:D

I posted a little something over at the Pit, but it bears repeating:

"Big thanks to the Biffster and Dargin for having the sense of humor and the cojones to say, basically, "Why the hell not?"

There was always a question about whether or not a limited edition run would be worth it. I haven't talked to BP about it so the question maybe hasn't been answered yet, but the response was sure exciting. It was worth it for us, and by 'us' I mean Steve and I as dealers - and all of us as customers.

Green basses. WTF!

Thanks again to BP and Dargin and thanks to all of you guys who put your trust in us and bought something."

The evolution of this thing has been a lot of fun.

Cheers to all of you and cheers to Biff and Dargin and all of the hardworking souls at Ernie Ball and Music Man!

I hear ya brother. In the last 2 months I'm in for a Stealth Bongo HS, a 30th SR AND a DD Sterling HS.

Time to start selling off some of the old stuff, going to be a long while before I "need' another bass.

Cheers to all of you and cheers to Biff and Dargin and all of the hardworking souls at Ernie Ball and Music Man!

Agreed, Jack!

Amen, Petey.

I ordered a SR5 HH and it will definitely see some action.

And Frank, you're nothing but trouble. I like that about you.

I plan on playing my Sterling HS but me thinks that MOG AL I ordered just may wind up down with the crunchy kleenex for a long nap.
