Disc Two, Track Six: God Is Returning

Written by: Matt Fidler for Billy and The FID's "Terry's Lodge".

Recorded somewhere between Oct-Nov 2005 in San Francisco using Pro Tools.

Bass tracks recorded with shamus63's Stealth Bongo H/Sc, which enjoyed a 2-3 month stay in California, before being whored-off to Texas (Old Toe) in trade for his SR4. :D

*Lead vocals/guitars: Matt Fidler (The FID)

*Background vocals/guitars: T. Doyle (Billy)

*Drums/percussion: Drew Yurkov (The Crayon)

*Bass: James Canzoneri (The Salty One)..."shamus63"

Good times!

I'm happy to be included.

"You Are Mine" was something I wrote years ago, late 80s or early 90s and did the demo by myself for the band, which imploded before we ever got around to dealing with it. So it's really all one-shot, one take unless I royally screwed the pooch.

Even a scratch vocal by me because I didn't want to sing it in the band version.

Hah.

I have no idea what bass it was, although I do remember it was a SR5.

The guitar was a capo'd Yamaha FG400, a pawn shop cheapie that I still own.

That's all I remember. Play on, brothers.

Guitars, Fretless Bass, Cheesy Drum Programming...NorM
Recorded on my Mac (me again)

This song is actually in 17/4. I didn't know that until I decided I wanted a cheesy Drum Program to go with it.

Used with permission for the cd and website mentioned here.
