Catch some bass and smoke it in a Big Poppa Smoker!

Now that's some smokin' bass!

Hey, BP...

Do I get a "kick-back" for the solicitation?

I don't fish but I'm told by several of the workers working on the lake house that my cove is one of the best fishing spots on Boone Lake. Sometimes it sounds like someone is throwing bricks in the water, there are some big fish jumping out there for sure.

Stop!:(. This is killing me! This totally sounds like heaven on earth. And a Man-cave Bass-Vault in the works. Count your blessings my friend.:)

Lots of progress being made on the vault, lights are in, the doors are in and the floor will be sealed tomorrow. The basses and amps will start to be brought in next week, plus my EBMM banner! :D

Its been a while but the Vault is finished, still a little junk to put away but the EBMM end of the room looks like this...

A vintage Digital Keyboards Inc. Synergy II+ GDS. I know bass guys don't care, but keyboard guru's are naked and kneeling right now!

The recording end is still a work in progress, pictures of that later.

Chuck,

Is there a particular combination of rig / bass that you find to be better or more to your liking than all of the rest ? Inquiring minds want to know.

Nice stuff and nice finished basement! Either you're a very successful full-time musician or you do something else that makes you a lot of money = allows you to have an expensive hobby. Yeah....I'm jealous - I'm a broke full-time musician at the moment.

Thanks guys, it is a fun little hole in the ground. As far as the amps go the Ampeg B-15R stack gets the most use in that room. It sounds great and has no fan, the room is sound proof so the sound of the fan in the SVT and Ashdown is noticeable. Barely seen in the pictures is a 1966 B-18-N, that amp still rules for the best tone I can get out of a bass guitar.

Another strange thing in the Vault is that in addition to the 11 EBMM basses hanging on the wall there's another 8 basses and a couple of acoustic guitars. Sheetrock ceiling, cinderblock on three walls, concrete floor and a sheetrock over two inches of plywood, it's a lively place! Sometimes you can feel all the instruments resonating.

And of course my bass playing didn't pay for any of it, I'm a keyboard player silly rabbit! :D
