Until the day comes when a bass comes out that can physically morf into these configurations at the flip of the switch then there will not be a one bass solution for me.

For me this acustical/unplugged enviroment with acustic guitars, cajon and percussion instead of drumset is pretty much the only situation where I'd feel a bit "overdressed" with my MM. Soundwise its of course possible to dail in a mellow tone that would fit but you can't take away the visual factor and the way a instrument feels.

For i don't like acoustic Basses I use a Shortscale Ibenaz Semiacoustic for that. The distinct different feel inspires me to distinct different playing.

I also have a P-Bass and a Fretless but the'll have to go soon because of lack of use (and talent as far as the fretless goes :rolleyes:)
