About the color... it is somewhere between Desert Gold and Lava Pearl with more of a metallic quality... it actually is probably close to Copperhead Bronze.

The neck - is super fast for a Bongo. it is incredible. The neck and board are not as figured as others I've seen but they are nice.
Ahhhhhhhhh - naked neck!!!!!

Setup was off. I don't know what it is but I am going to have to reset it (neck is a bit off - could be the weather - the pups are really off - doubt that is weather). Give me a screwdriver and 5 minutes it will be back to factory fresh :)

Haven't plugged it in but it already is awesome (it is light too - will have to weigh it in a bit).

more later :D

I'm not real big on brighter colors, but it's pretty. The headstock on the other hand is just awesome looking. Great looking bass, hope you enjoy it!

Either am I

Nah, love obnoxious colors (I actually wanted a neon BC Rich when I started playing in the 80s - hey, it was cool back then) - it actually isn't that bright - it is pretty dark (but reflects light like mad - will look killer with stage lighting)

Thank you all for the kind words. Just got to tuck the girl into bed, then off to the Man-Cave to amp it up.

That's a beauty! One problem though..... you're making me second guess my BFR color choice!.....that firemist looks a lot better in your pics than the MM website......so many choices... :D

Congrats, what a marvelous combo, Firemist + Rosewood = a feast for the eyes, and I bet the ears as well.
Enjoy

The all rosewood necks don't really excite me as a concept, but it really looks awesome with that combo! Just beautiful. Congrats.
