It's 11:21. I've tracked my elusive quarry to the UPS delivery HUB in my town. Where is it already the damned suspense is killing me. I took the day off from work and everything for this.

If it's anything like delivery to my house, it'll probably come at about 4:45.

OK!!!!!!!!!!! It's here as of about 12:15PM EST. I love the neck on this thing...plugged it in, sounds sweet too. Just my Recto into a 1x12 3/4 back mesa I have lying around for occasions like this. I'd say the learning curve isn't so bad on this bad boy, it really isn't so bad. In a half hour I was pulling tricks I haven't done in years considering the guitars I was using and it felt like going home to a long lost friend. I'm looking to deposit on JP6#2 this week (I'm a nut.). I may consider going back up to the 11's on here tho'.

The only downside, and this apears to be a multiple threader here, were two nice stress cracks by the neck pocket, but it's not uncommon, like all my others (which of course are being liquidated), it seems to be a Northeast thing so I probably won't fret over it. to be honest it sounds too good to let go of, and I tend to hear nuances in this thing that jump out at you. replacing the body might make me lose those. Whatever. It woulda botten banged around in the case going to the gig anyway...probably happened during shipping.

Anyhoo. Thanks EB for a kick ass instrument. I guess I'm now an official member of the club.

Right On!

I have some slight cracks in my redburst, no big. I had EBMM check it out, they said it's finish only. Doesn't bug me.

Shipping UPS Cross Country, and the Climate in the Nnortheast will eventually do that. Whatev. It's character. Your finish will not play for you, I'll just monitor it and see if it gets worse, then I might be worried. I like to think that I now own a JP6 "Relic". Guitars were made to be played people.

Here she be. It's funny due to the metallic nature of the finish, the stress cracks are visible only dependent on angle.

BTW here's the serial....born on date please!!!!!!!!!

My 1st thought was, "wouldn't the born on date by April 2004?". But then I thought you may have bought it from existing inventory or used.

The Desert Gold is beautiful!

should be new but, just wondering if she's backstock. this thing f'n cooks man. I'm noticing alot of my finesse is lacking since I'd been pounding on 11's and fixed bridges for so long, nothing like a good challenge.
