The case compartment was damaged; not sure if I'll do anything about that. I'll post my opinions about this guitar after a few weeks but I like it already. The forearm cutout is super comfortable unlike the sharp cornered Axis. Has a very wide/flat neck profile (thinner & flatter than the UV). The JP7 makes my Ibanez Universe seem like a cheaply built toy. Thanks EBMM for making me such a nice guitar & Pete Dubaldo for intervening even though I didnt buy this one from you. I see a Petrucci 6 in the not so distant future

About the case compartments, I had 1 arrive here where the compartment nails/screws had backed out after the instrument slide-hammered the compartment during rough shipping (as evidenced by the box). After inspecting the instrument to find it free of damage, I repositioned the compartment and put the nails back in, with a little bit of woodglue on each.
Then I sold the bass to my cousin

Bump for the compensated nut 7... I want to buy another 7 but I want one with the new nut. I have the Earvana installed on two of my guitars. It really helps with the tuning on the first five positions. If you play open position chords on a guitar with a compensated nut/BF tuning and on one without you can definately hear the difference-the ones with the alteration sound much more in tune.
