I know I'm gonna sound like a whiny little baby, but the last few weeks of waiting for a new guitar are the worst.

So my fully loaded Stealth JP7 will be inbound soon and I'm starting to get really anxious for it. It'll be my first 7 string with the Crunch Lab & Liquifire pickups, and my first original JP7. Also, I think it will be the first Knucklehead owned Stealth JP7 with an ebony fretboard.

Man up Brad! Take it like a man! :D

I would play the optimist and say, at least you have a NGD to look forward to.

Unlike me.... hahaha

Anyways to stray from my ball deprived situation, you got a killer axe to look forward too. All the stealth variants of EBMM's just look so killer. Uniformity and pitch black! You're gonna be so stoked when you see that incognito finish.

It'll be worth the wait!

I just saw a Black Cherry Burst quilted Axis this past Monday that I was so tempted to buy with what little money I have. It was to die for and the store has an easy payment plan.

Stared at it, drooled, then I woke up. :(

I’ve owned 4 Axis’s. I have tried the JP and I thought my next purchase was going to be the Mystic Dream but when its time, I will buy another Axis. I just love everything about them.

I vist the 12th fret online alot. They always have nice MM’s.

I'm the opposite. I own 3 (soon to be 6) JP's and swore to myself I would get something different, but when it came time to order, I ended up with another JP inbound, then the JPX announcement was made.

There shouldn't be another JP for a while, so I think I'm safe now. My next guitar after the JPX's will be something other than a JP. Maybe another Taylor...

I have two guitars on order. One's at least 2 months away and the other is slated for late Summer/early Fall. I just try to forget about them altogether.

My new cab shipped today so that will tide me over for a day or two.

Pete has a couple items I'm interested in that could provide me with some instant gratification, but I need to wait to see if some things fall into place before I can make any other purchases.

Yes! I break-down the wait as follows:
Phase-I: Order placed and feeling great.
Phase-II: Still very excited about the order but you're not thinking about it every hour of every day. Maybe once or twice a week you think "oh yeah, I have that killer Ball on order - cool!"
Phase-III: 2-3 weeks out and you're thinking about that new guitar every hour of the day.
Phase-IV: Truck is out for delivery, you're refreshing the FedEx/UPS site for tracking, you're watching the front door, and you're pacing like a mad man!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL. That is dead on.

Though I would add a Phase Ia. That's when while still feeling great the reality of the wait time hits you when you're trying to go to fall asleep and you start thinking, "well maybe they don't have a lot of orders in que and mine will be done in 3 months".

Phase V: The mail room has received my new Ball, but hasn't brought it to my desk yet, so I'm calling everyone and their brother to get the thing upstairs.

Phase VI: Now I'm waiting to go home so I can open the box and see the beautiful new guitar.

Phase VII: Playing the new guitar for the first time. It feels like taking Gas-X. Everything's good for a couple weeks.

Phase VIII: I realize I have 2 more guitars on order. Return to phase II.

LOL. I'm only spoiled because my wife doesn't care when I buy a new guitar.
