Picked up a Luke Dargie on Tuesday right here in Chicago. It's a great guitar as you know. I think that based upon the info that I received on available inventory, this may very well be the last retail one for sale. Thanks to Dan at EB for the dealer info. I jumped in late in the game and just learned about the Dargie's availability. It wasn't a piezo, but at least I was able to get one of any kind. All my drinkin buddies are impressed with the martini glass inlays.

I'm just thrilled that I was able to find one and it goes to show that getting info on this forum was very helpful in locating one. Now if I can find a JP6 Dargie ! :D

Parking is a bitch though but you can find some at the Whole Foods about a block over. I think that they have a DD bass, he mentioned it to me in case I wanted one to match. No other Dargies though. I almost walked out with a loaded JP6 with piezo. I think it was something like Black Cherry Burst. Nice but I think I'm going to wait for a DD JP6. I have a Mystic Dream with the older pups that I love.

I emailed EBMM and they told me that there are no more Luke's out there and there was only one JP and the store I called said it was a special order that was already purchased. But you never know, keep calling. Good Luck.

I have to warn you though, DO NOT go into that store if you have a bad case of GAS, like me. This has to be the largest selection of guitars I've seen in a guitar store.

Sorry for the many posts, but for whatever reason, I can't seem to be able to write more than a couple of sentences before I get an error when I send.

Everything from Vintage to New. It's a really large place with separate rooms for testing amps and a big room for acoustics and a large selection of mid range to high end guitars.

The JP you spoke of would have been Pearl RedBurst...

That's a pretty cool piece man. I notice the LynchBox in the background...sweet.
