Sad, very sad indeed.

His music was considered a level you wanted to attain when I was in High School...I was lucky enough to be able to play a few of his tunes back in the day...Reedology and Mr. Lucky if I remember correctly.

He was so cool - one of my childhood heros, Somkey and the bandit was my favourite film I even had a golden eagle truck just like snowmans,

He was a legend, world is a little bit crappier now he's gone...

Awesome player....plus Smokey and the Bandit is a classic...I always though Jerry Reed was just as essential as Burt in that film.
