I don't think people are upset with JP's preferences. The point is that GC technology was touted as being in the Majesty. Correctly or incorrectly. Purposely or not. Officially or not. It is a shame that this mistake, if it was one, detracts, in the eyes of some, from such a great instrument.

Too much sensitivity over selective reading symntecs
I made it clear, so I'll make it even clearer:
1) I couldn't care less who JP is or what he plays or does, especially for mod preferences, so I certainly don't care about the GC as explained
2) besides not caring about Jp or his preferences, the reason I bought the EBMM majesty was for everything that is NOT JP, such as wishing the autograph didn't vandalize the beautiful headstock , in fact I would have paid more o have his name not signed
3) I never said EBMM half assed a guitar, which is what I care about, in other words not Jp or his specs, I said the GC implmentation was half assed, which it is: faster/quiterer pup changes? Like that doesn't even sound right on paper
3) since only one peson understood me at first , and beej then immediately understood, what's the issue? I took time to explain it four times, so some of the ssssensitive boys are getting their panties in a bunch for no reason
Decreebass made a great point: no feedback = no improvement. You think EBMM is gonna screw this up GC wise again if we pipe down? Def not
I think the majesty is the finest axe and best 7 string, and I would buy another if I could afford two
That is mutually exclsuive and independent of the fact that the GC application is disappointing, especially for a perfect guitar
I'll repeat: GC or not, the majesty is unparalleled . However, the G C should be given full functionality otherwise it's just sucking battery from and axe that already needs alotta battery

I love EBMM
Majesty is best axe I've ever played (and I don't like other peoples sigs)
It's perfect in every way that I want or need
They half assed the GC and I hope they offer an upgrade to enable it
My question about the GC is mutually exclusive of my op point: maj is #1

I also really became another loyal EBMM, fan ,all too quickly too, but I LOVE THAT.
I love when a guitar/luthier grabs you by the balls so [insert positive adverb of your choice] that it completely flips your entire view of the lutheir world
i mean i was a DIE HARD IBANEZ fan until July 2014 , and then my world was flipped upside down.
I am now, and am certain as long as their guitars stay the same or improve of thats even possibel, be a EBMM guitarist for life.
Im serious man, EBMM blew my mind, and ALL preconceived notions of what "quality expectations" are or should be. They have changed my idea of what high end as a standard term means.
They practically leave any and all other companies in the dirt man, and I never though Ibanez (and my close second ESP) not only would have competition or a challenge, but get completely subverted and decimated as distant second and thirds in my eyes now.
I really thank god for my injury/accident if only for what came out of: my EBMM Majesty 7!! (and that was a near fatal accident last month too)

Please play guitar Hopefully ours....Drop the attitudes and understand that if you want to run a guitar company start one. BUying our guitars doesnt come with a stock certificate. I understand that it comes with the territory but the guitar business isnt as easy as it looks from an armchair in Hawaii...also because you cant notice the switching difference...(I just notice there is no 'pop') Jp does...so thats what we give him....
Now about the GC....I gave everybody everything and it FAILED. I expected rejection. I poured tons of time blood sweat and tears into it and guitarists dont want this level of control over their sound....YET. JP wants to get more integration but he wasnt really ready...
That guy you keep alluding to us banning you....is that what you want? why? How about communicating where you dont preface a comment with the idea of a ban?
WOw I just read the above post.....THis is out of control. I built a guitar for JP...you bought it....great. Stop with the half assed or just go away. BTW does the preamp that take your noise away and give you up to 20db of boost run on wind power? Does the Piezo? Do you know how much power the Game changer draws? Could you just be civil?

JP eats breathes and sleeps guitars and trying to create them....he is passionate and innovative and involved. The guitar you love so much is what it is because of JP...to say that JP signing his work that you actually like is vandalism is disrespectful. Since you are an artist of stature did you miss the chapter of respecting a fellow player? What will your sig to do the guitar you play? Vandalize? That is just not a nice or very well thought out comment. I guess artists shouldn't sign their paintings either
