Hey, I've been persona non grata in several countries, too, so it's not a new feeling.

Oddly enough, my rebate has not been forthcoming. I'm sure it's nothing but a clerical error deep in the administrative office complex, though.

I dash to my mailbox each day, however, as hope springs eternal.

I must say, I could hardly sleep last night, worried as I was about an army of grizzled Arizona attorneys showing up at my door with the marshall and hauling me off to jail for high crimes and misdemeanors. I'm sitting here right now, typing but also keeping a keen eye through the window on the driveway.

The postman scared the bejeezus outta me about an hour ago.

I love this forum, but I may have to start thinking about going into hiding.

Perhaps the best approach is:

There was an exchange between Sterling and I where we joked about a refund I may have been due for a subscription to an other bass site after my account was "deleted."

It's been pointed out that by the owner of that site that I was possibly in error as I didn't have a valid subscription at that time (according to him).

HOWEVER.

If you believe your situation is different, you should contact the owner of that board directly to see if you're owed a refund.

Or perhaps the better approach is actually:

It's all kind of a laugh to me, thinking about the imaginary army of lawyers at his command.
