Ah! Thank you once again for your time and trouble, my friend. It seems that OC and I almost speak the same language, much like how Spanish is close to Italian in some ways. I tried those language converter sites, but when I entered OC's text, smoke came out of the back of my computer, putting an end to the session. Once again, Thank You.

Hey King, yea the records, vinyl thing still slips out for me as well, yea I can download and burn but that is work and I am lazy LOL, much prefer just buying a CD and hitting play, guess I am old fashioned just cant get into Ipods and the like, but I am going to download yours, if you come across a lost CD let me know:D

Man, download is the ultimate no-work solution. :D It's the ultimate lazy-ass solution to buying music. Plus, I can do it 24-7. :D Try that with a CD from a brick-and-mortar retailer. I can sit in bed, on my couch, or whatever with my laptop. A couple of clicks and a minute or two later, and I've got my album playing through my headphones or wirelessly over my WiFi network into my stereo. No need to even get out of bed to go buy the CD, bring it back, peel the thing out of the annoying cellophane, and that annoying sticky label on the top of the case, turn on the receiver, turn on the CD/DVD changer, open the the changer, decide what DT CD or DVD I'm going to boot out of it so that I can find a place to play the new one, close the changer, select the appropriate input on the reciever, hit play on the changer.

Anyway, I'm currently digging this album. Thanks for the heads-up, King! :D

Jimi, what are you using for amplification on this album? How do you like to record it?

Hi Roburado! I use ADA poweramps and MP-1 preamps, modded by Trace Davis at Voodoo Amps. I run four 4x12 cabs, two loaded with Vintage 30s and two loaded with GT75s. We used Shure 57s and Sennheiser 421s microphones. This was our first non tape recording and we used Pro Tools. I wasn't a fan of digital recordings cause I'm an old school lover of 2" tape. But not changing how I wanted to hear the lower frequencies in the heavy guitars, bass & kick drum sonically sit made me realize it's not the medium, it's the engineer that makes the knot rock! Bumblefoot & I made sure that the girth remained from the tracking to the mixing to the mastering!:D

Cool! Thanks, man. Seems like that SM57 and Sennheiser 421 combo is the way to go. You're doing it. Petrucci's doing it. I can only imagine that a lot of other people are doing it too.

Jimi, thanks for the tip on the modded ADA MP-1s by Voodoo. Those might deserve some investigation down the road. Thanks again!
