Infact, many older EBMM's pre 90-91 had 6 bolts....I was watching a Morse Blue Beater Silo on ebay last week and it had the ol' 6 and it was either an 89 or 90...so it wasn't a specific # of your particular model per se....but more a defacto spec and design change...Glenn can attest to this.

I could be wrong but the first picture shows that the hex polepieces of the bridgepickup are not aligning with the strings. Is it an F-spaced pickup or not? Seems like it's not...........

I think you're right - it doesn't look f-spaced at all

Must be the same with all Floyd equipped SM MM.
Cause mine's the same.
Doesn't affect the sound though (that's my job)

If it sounds good, then who cares? It's good enough for Morse, so it's good enough for us mere mortals :)

Per Steve's request The bridge pickup is not F spaced. Steve has always liked the sound of "G" spaced pickups installed on his frankenstein model from the 70's.

This will be a question if not posted...

F Spaced = Fender spacing
G Spaced = Gibson spacing

What this translates to is the string spacing of the bridge...a common misnomer is that F Spacing = Floyd spacing....not true in the least.

I saw the title of the post and thought something else.
Congratulations on the Floyded Morse. She's a beauty.

I'm glad to see you too Derek :)

And I always thought it was "F spaced = Floyd spaced"
