We all have these stories, the guitar that you should have got but you held back for some reason or another. I'm afraid i could soon be in this very position soon, i'll keep you posted. How close were you and have you since regretted it? Any words of wisdom?

EBMM EVH , mint condition.
only $1,000

I didn't buy it. Because I was new to the EBMM forum then.

You have rose tinted specs on Poj....it had a cracked neck from what I remember.

I have missed too many good ones to remember...being addicted you want them all but its best to not have everything you desire :)

There was a 20th Silo that went for under $800 on ebay before the buzz about them kicked in on the forum...doh!

The chinese oak Luke is something I really miss sometimes... And one of the first fifty Morses - but that urge is really kept down by having one of the first silos.

Other than that I've been pretty much blessed with rare guitars - I can really say I've so far got to try/purchase every EBMM I wanted to try. Some stayed, some went... More are sure to come.

Really?
This one used to belong to Brent. I think it's natural quilt.
Are we talking about the same one?

Yeah it was an ex-Brent piece, amber quilt...cracks around where the bolts hold the nut in place...

I've spoken with Brent lately.
He kicks himself too!

Me too, he's a changed man. :)

Yah man it was of course a Sparkle Silo, in Glacier Blue Sparkle, it was an awesome price, but such is life.

Hang on...What?

Sorry for the hijac. A chinese oak Luke?!!
Haha am I really that out of touch with the Luke models previously offered? Or have I just been fantastically sucked in?

Haha don't they make wood chips and corks out of chinese oak?

^ yes, that one. Kills me every time I see it. There was one on eBay last week, but the Buy It Now button got hit by someone else before I ever had a chance.

I've kept all the balls I have bought.

Regret getting rid of a late 60's Gibson SG STD and a late 60's Marshall 50 head and an early 60's Fender 2 x 12 speaker cab.

My 54 oval VW ... Porsche 356B ohh woah is me!!!!!

I've seen at least one other one as well. It's amazing how these colors pop up all the time when you're not looking for them. But when you are, they're scarce.

Yes and they are still out there, I think Norm has 1 maybe.

They are far and few between. Finding one with a maple board is even tougher.
My burnt apple is a loaded pet 6. I think it's a one off.

Hopefully that Gremlin Green SiLO won't be one I regret missing.
