I've had some amazing Balls before including ones that I have loved like the Silo Special, 20th Anniversary Silo, Standard Silo, 2 Lukes. However I only have the Y2D right now which really is a joy to play every single time I pick it up, and it covers pretty much everything I like. The balance, size, feel and tone are perfect. Only thing I miss is a trem...but hopefully another Silo Special will rectify that in the future.

I would say to go and play both guitars and let your ears and hands make your decision for you. Both guitars are extremely versatile and you can pull a lot of tones out of both of them. But one may feel better in your hands then the other. I think this is one of the most frequent questions asked, pick out my next ax! But you are going to get a lot of different choices and guys will go with what they prefer, go with what you prefer.I can honestly say I have never played an EBMM guitar that was a dog.
