Hello Victrola,

Good meeting you and your husband, but his late flight must have been a drag.

I just want to jump in here and thank you and all the other forumites who welcomed me as a friend.

You guys rock

Sterling's wife is Stacey (hope I spelled it correctly).

You spelled it right and she is extremely gracious. I said, "Hi, I'm Jack, I swear I will never, ever wake you up again!"

She laughed. (I dialed the wrong number one night and WHEW, not a good idea.)

And also - how cool was it to meet Casey?

BP, amongst other things, has raised (or is still raising in some cases) some good kids.

Yes, Morse played "Vista Grande" and "On the Pipe"

...and you should have seen NorM's face when he started playing Vista Grande.

He looked like he just saw a bathroom after a 400 mile drive... ;)

Immediately before Morse took the stage, NorM and I were talking about which songs Morse might play.

NorM said he was really hoping to hear "Vista Grande" and we were speculating about a second song..

I guessed "Cruise Missile".. but NorM said "On the Pipe"

I'll be damned if he didn't get BOTH songs right! How'd you do that, NorM? :D

Hey Ad,

Thanks, guy! *blush*

Zon, it was great to meet you too.

NorM, how did you know what Steve would play? Do you have a special SM magic crystal ball ?

Hilarious!

But, I honestly didn't care what Steve played, it's been a long time since I've seen him in any other capacity other than Deep Purple. I think the last time was the summer of 2000, when I flew to Philly to see the SMB open up for the Dregs and Steve had a broken arm.

I really miss the Dregs. They are still my favorite band.

I was thrilled steve chose those 2 songs, neither of which were played on the January tour.

Eyes of a child next open house! ;)
