well.... all I've gotta say right now is that if you thought the Bongo was one mean mofo.... she's like ridin' Bronco @ the stampede when she's passive!

so far it's wired up with 2 500k volume pots like a J-bass, no tone roll off just the 2 volumes to the jack. man, talk about a whole different sound.
I do realize that these pick-ups weren't necessarily intended to be used with out the pre-amp that compliments them but man oh man, the bridge H has more burp and growl than ANY J-bass bridge p/u I've heard and the neck H.... P-bass on 'roids, kinda like a Canseco Humbucker .....
anywho, not sure how long it'll stay like this but it's good to get my soldering chops up
will try to get pics soon.
