Larry - that's a BP question, my understanding thus far is if we get over 50 then US people 'could' be an option, but BP is the man, I am but a humble servant, -although if we sell over 100 - I'd hope Bp'd give me mine for free!
Sorry Larry, best I can do just now....

That makes the JP double-neck seem like it's Midnight Blue. Anyone know for sure what it is?
Make the knucklehead guitar concept about a custom finish exclusive to all forum members, allow buyer to choose the model of guitar they want(at BP's discretion of course)and maybe hand numbered and/or signed by BP.
Thanks for the info kneeoh.I remember when this whole thing started Smelly was trying for a UK/Europe exclusive release with model/finish etc to be determined.I lost track of it at some point so i just wanted some clarification. If it turns out to be an exclusive guitar not available in the US that's ok.We get our share of special releases here that aren't normally available outside of the US.But if it comes down to it and the numbers don't meet the demands set by EBMM maybe my suggestion would make a good plan B.....a special finish available on multiple guitar models exclusive to forum members (even if it's just for the UK/Europe market). So Smelly if you need to go in a different direction with your idea please feel free to use any or all of mine if you think it might helpSmelly's original concept was to have a special edition guitar specifically made for the UK market much like the special runs done for Germany or Japan. Those instruments were limited to 1 model with a special finish only. The most recent examples are the Caramel Apple BFR JP's with JP inlays and the BFR Luke's in the prototype's caramelburst, and the Trans-Pink Axii for Japan.
As much as it would pain me not to be able to participate (because I'm from the US), I think they should stick with this concept. I think it would be the easiest way for all parties to get it done.
I admire your passion and dedication to the deal, Smelly, I really do. Especially with so many of the UK Knuckleheads on board.
And though it might come as cynicism, it's really not. But for me, as a soon to be graduated college student (I guess that puts me in a minor demographic here, but the prospect of having to spend a good chunk of change on a budget is something a lot of people here can sympathize with) and I'm at the point where I'm almost able to afford my next ball. Honestly, I can't say that I'd dish out the extra money for a custom color. I know it's just my opinion, and I would appreciate it if everyone just took this as my opinion (I don't wish my perspective to be viewed as assertiveness, cause that's exactly what I'm try not to do)
I always believed in function over form, and while I certainly do value aesthetics, shouldn't the opportunity be taken to obtain something worthwhile? BP said no custom, serious works, just a wood choice or color choice. Wood choice seems to be the way to go. I know the pain in the rear-end has been getting everyone to agree on a wood choice has been rough, but its just some food for thought. If you guys get this to the next step, and on through, I'm genuinely happy for ya all. I just kinda wish I could be as excited about it.
