There's going to be a lot of Knuckleheads losing out because of the limited 200 run , why not keep the book open for a week or two and make that amount?

I, by no means speak for BP and CO. and everything I say is complete conjecture, however I would say that creating this in response to demand defeats the purpose of the Premier Dealer Network. It's a chance for awesome dealers to get access to rare, one off, and low production models for their customers. The idea is let us get a chance to snag something that we're not even supposed to have anyways.

With that said, the low numbers, and limited availability helps to maintain the value and integrity of PDN guitars.

I´ve always liked the sound of the lukes, but not so into the look before I saw Luke´s new "true gold" with ebony fretboard and RW neck. So I think I´m ready to buy if he price is right. If not, I will consider a Suhr modern with the same specs...

Daughter #1 has just requested a True Gold Luke for her next birthday. Fat chance...if I can rake up enough for one of these, I'll be keeping it for myself!! (It would be a perfect match for the Dargie.)

I highly doubt that will be the case

same here, there is a huge difference between action and talking :)

You can still find the 50 units limited run in the US of the Petrucci (bahama blue signed) so to me 200 is already a big number and a high risk for both the network and BP (though Japan only will probably commit for at least 50)

Guys you have to start somewhere. ONe of the other reasons for putting a limit on it is that we are limited in what we can make to begin with and have to fit this run in and keep up with what we have on order. I also think that history has shown that when it comes time to slap the dough down that the committed buyers are sort of like your brother in law when the check comes....
