I went to the local GC here in San Antonio and what did I see but a lovely black reflex up on the wall. I couldnt help but pull it down and plug in.... I gotta say Poppa that is a damn fine instrument. Plenty of tone and really nice and well balanced

now to justify another guitar lol

I cannot WAIT to try a Reflex. They aren't in Canada yet, but they sound like they're amazing guitars, and I'm sure I'll immediately have G.A.S for one as soon as my local L&M gets one in. They remind me of the Axis Super Sport, which I've always liked the look of.

have you tried a 25th? That will let you know what the Reflex will be like.

Haven't seen you around in a while.

But yes, the 25th rules! :D

Love mine to death. Only downside is that it makes finding the next purchase more difficult. It covers so much ground.

Curious -- is the price point for the Reflex the same as the 25th?

Also wondering if there is one at my local GC...

As I understand it, from a "player's" point of view, the Reflex will be every bit as good as the 25th.

That being the case, I look in my crystal ball and definitely see a Reflex in my future!:D

So, are all the Reflexes at GC black? Sorry if this is a questions answered elsewhere. I think this is the 2nd or 3rd reference to a black Reflex at a GC.

I just left SAT GC and played the black Reflex. Very nice. As I only know Axis necks, this neck feels thinner and wider. There was an AX40 (poor set up) to get a frame of reference again. The Reflex is more resonant in comparison to anything else I picked up. Very clear. I really like the forearm contour too. I was impressed with tones available. I'm not a fan of slide switches (3 or 5-way), but I hear what the possibilities are with one guitar. Very usable and with enough differences to be a real working tool in one case. Very cool and well done. I had to look at the two 25 Anniv. basses they had to see what a nice top would look like on that bad boy. For me I think I will wait for the release and order a light top and maple board Reflex. It's impressive. Thanks BP.
