Thanks bro.. George was my friend and my first guitar hero and the reason why I play! beatles Ed Sullivan 1964 and I was so blown away that I just knew I wanted to be George. I got to say that to him face to face. We hung and we jammed with Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne and Jim Keltner after a dinner many years ago. I was TRIPPIN!
This was a riblute to him and even thought the arrnagement to totally different it was his spirit that gave me the inspiration. He is missed.
have a good one and thanks for the kind words
Luke

Hey Luke - welcome back man!

Looking forward to the next time you swing through the NYC area - that night last year at B.B Kings was awesome! :D

Well, I will TRY and make the Nov hang depending on my schedule. We are starting a re-model at my LA pad and its gonna be a mess. My wife may kill me as I have been gone all year BUT..perhaps I might sneak away with Biffer. Let me check it out and thanks for the invite!

I know where we can get some really nasty Greek food. Or I can save you some of these olives....really good garlic stuffed olives, which I buy and consume by the case, only I didn't check the seal on this jar last night before I stuffed two in my martini-addled mouth.

Whoops. Felt great until this morning.

Anyway, the bash is coming, sir Luscious, and the only thing better than Biff at My Birthday (band name alert) is Biff and Luscious at my Birthday. He has better legs but you smell like a million bucks.

Bring the wife, buy her a nice cowboy hat.

Right now I am just hoping for a firm stool

When I worked in South America, a Firm Stool Report by any member of the team was cause for great celebration. Which of course generally involved substances which were not exactly conducive to more firmness.

I miss you, man.

I'll get some Patron for the bald guy and some 'spensive French vodka for you and me.

If you can. I'll certainly get it if you can't. Good to have you back on the board no matter what.

Good to have you back, Luke!

I was overjoyed recently at a gig when I was compared to you.

I insulted and offended the entire audience whilst onstage, then drank the rider dry and made inappropriate comments about everyone around me and told filthy jokes until the early hours of the morning!

You woulda bin proud!

:D

Welcome back, Steve!
I'm glad to hear you had a fun time out on tour. Now the real fun begins! LOL No Greek food for a week and you should be fine. Stick to Thai. :)

While you were out, I did my homework. Dan C. was a great teacher and really helped me out. I thought you might enjoy what I/we did. Here's a link to the thread:
http://www.ernieball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14549

And if you want to skip all the reading and go directly to the video:

Since shooting that, I've shot the skipping CD player and have practiced a bunch. I'm now able to sing and play it at the same time (my first "dual" song). I'll shoot a new video one of these days.

Anyway, It's cool that you're back safe and sound. I hope to see you at NAMM!
Go have some fun!
