I play this one too, ...my band performs this song at every gig, ...crowd reaction is exactly the same like on this video, ...complete audience knows all the lyrics, ...even no one speaks Portuguese language, ...isn't that amazing?

This song is a real hit, ...top of the tops on my band's set list! :)

And, ...I almost forgot, ...5 string Musicman bass tone is "must have" in that bass line!

Never heard of it.

Maybe because You're a guitar guy  , ...in this mega-hit song primary solo instrument is accordion! :D

However, ...this song (original version) makes me and my band a money! :)
I mean, ...people like it a lot when we play it and ask for more, again, ...and again...sometimes 3-4 times in one gig!!!

Anyway, ...I don't like much English version, ...original instrument lines are much better, so as how lyrics sounds in Portuguese ...originals are always better at the first place!

In both videos are the same musicians and nice SR5 bass! :)

Haha, your probably right Keko :)
We use a a lot of accordion in Mexican music too. Nice and colorful ones with sparkle paint, Mexican flag colors. Glad I went the guitar route. :)

I'll have to look up the Merican version of this song to figure out what's being said. Obviously, the ladies are liking it eh?

That's for sure, ...ladies are liking it a lot, ...as a matter a fact it' s all about the ladies in thet song anyway! :D

We have a privilege here at the Balkans that common people like accordion the best, so as a combination of rhythm lines from original version of Michel Telo's mega-hit song!

P.S. ...great commercial for EBMM company too, ...I mean 350 million of views (original version) over the YouTube and bass player plays Stingray 5  ...wow, ...hey Big Poppa, ..this guy deserves a brand new Musicman bass on his wish! :p

If I thought it would bring a crowd like that to our gigs it would be in my set tonight.
Not sure our singer would be too happy mind you ;)

It's one of the main instruments in Irish music too, our keyboard player takes on the roll with us.

Just try dude, ...my band performs this song (original version) for a several months from now and crowd reaction is still like in this original video! I'm still in shock!

Ladies, accordion, that rhythm combo and "sha la la" Lyrics, ...I bet that's the formula for such a success!

There have been worse songs that I have played for the sake of the crowed... If playing that song is all it takes to get young attractive women to our show instead of the beer belly crowd we normally play too than I am definitly up for it :D:cool: (not to mention the bass line is actualy pretty cool )

Oh, and I should mention that it's my daughters favorite song :)
