i was under the impression the 20th sr5 used alnico pickups???

heh..not that it really matters. it still sounds awesome

I was saying to Strummer that I have a standard 5, with ceramics, which is a great bass, but I fancy a 20th (having Alnico amongst other goodies) - but I also am gassing for three or four other EBMM products (not least an HSS 25th)!

yep, and I simply agreed that the ceramics sound great too
