yeah ok...apologies.
He actually has a good point. I have not found any info about the dbs on the eq so it could prove very interesting.
My problem is I am not a very technically minded person, just plug in, find my sound and play. Work for 20 years now - but you are never too old to learn.

mmm... just guessing - it might even be more than 10dB. The difference is huge between mid and full/full cut. IMO

wellllllllllllllllll the reason is to figure out how much to adjust at a time.
if its +-5 you turn it in big turns to adjust sounds
if its like +-10 then you turn it only a little to adjust sounds
if its like say +-20 then you turn it even less
what im asking is how slight of a turn changes the sound, if its a small rang it'll take a large turn to change sound and if it is a large range it'll take the slightest tap on the knob to change it.
i however am seeing a kinda large range lol
not so large a tap throws off the sound but large where the adjustment of sound is very fine
