so im playing my jp6 last night
i put it to bed

come back this afternoon

to find all the strings about a tone sharp
the tremolo arm swinging (i always have it tight)
and the bridge leaning back into the guitar as if the springs were too tight

what the hell happened?
im sure no one touched it

and i was just saying last night how i tightened the trem arm the first day i got it
and its been perfect since

also while im here
should the bridge be level with the body?
mine is about maybe 1 mm off the body
is there a rule for this

also tremolno
any one put one in their jp6
dont you need a special thing for musicmen?

insert twilight music here ;) I would say it has something to do with the cold weather. As the necks are unsealed they can be a little more susceptible to weather change. Unsure of the trem aspect though.

i thought about a temperature thing
but it just doesnt make sense

the neck is fine
the trem arm got loosened
and its like the springs got tightened in the back
magically

Maybe a string ball got caught in the trem block when you changed strings and only now came to its normal position, which would explain the sharpness of the strings and the bridge pulling back into the body.

That makes sense to me.
