On another note, I almost lost my JP7 last Sunday. I'm currently using one of those cheap guitar-store-brand-freebee straps (while patiently waiting for Ernie Ball to release their Straplocks
). I was kneeling down to pick up something and the strap came off the bottom strap button. Luckily I had enough time to bear hug the guitar before it hit my hardwood floor. It was literally an inch from hitting the floor. I had to check my pants afterwards to make sure I didn't crap myself in fear.

Hahaha! That wasn't even in my mind ..
I was cleaning out my bathroom drawers last night and I found 2 Ace Bandages. I threw one in the trash and wrapped the other one around my cat. Funniest thing ever .. you guys should try it.

One time I was doing laundry, sitting on the floor and rolling socks together and so on. The cat - who was a kitten at the time - kept leaping inside t-shirts and generally making a nuisance of herself, so I put a sock over her head.
(No cats were harmed. And I love my cat. It was just a sock.)
All I can figure is that she thought she had her head stuck in something and if she could just back up enough, she could pull her head out.
So she started to walk backwards, which is funny enough, but she was also exploring other options to remove the Thing On Her Head. She began to swing her head from side to side. The end of the sock was hanging off, so she looked like a tiny, furry little elephant, walking backwards and swinging her trunk.
Maybe you had to be there.

i've fitted schallers to my silhouette special as i happened to have a set spare.. but i don't like them - they're noisy and clunky.
Anyone from EB lurking around? When's the release?

Until the EB's are released, try swabbing a tiny bit of vasoline or gun grease with a q-tip in the channels. Quiets them right down. Usually only takes once, for some reason.
