Well, I did it.....I ordered me a Radiance Red JP-6 w/piezo. I figured I have two JP-6's and a JP-7 w/piezo.....might as well round out the bunch (I like even numbers) and get a 6 stringer with piezo.

My buddy Bassplyr (authorized dealer) made the process quick and painfree.....plus he is super cool and easy to work with.....thanks bro!

Told that drop off time is mid December....just in time for Santa......

I know that all at EBMM will give me the "rock star" treatment as they always do and I can't wait to see her in person.... :D

Yeah I know.....he is the JP Messiah that's for sure (okay ernie....I'm jealous!! hahahahah).......but, I think this will be it for me for quite awhile.....I have to grease the skids with the wife now....she said something like "So, you get ANOTHER guitar, does that mean I get ANOTHER car?" Obviously, in my guitar buying excitement, I said "Sure honey, what ever you want..." without really hearing what it was she said.....hehehehehe......I did notice a Hummer brochure sitting on the table today.....I guess she really meant "car" for real.....DUH!!

Yeah.....I know, those Hummer's run quite a bit on the high priced side...but, I do have a car that isn't exactly cheap either....plus, wifey deserves something for putting up with me anyhow!! ;) Including my passion for buying EBMM guitars...hehehe.....

Save money

Get her a week at one of those high falutin spas, and a lexus suv ;)

Everyones happy. Plus, you save on gas, insurance...and you can park it in quite a few more parking spaces.

Now...if she's planning on advancing on Tehran...gotta go with the hummer.

Why most Americans like SUV's is beyond me...its not as if the majority of them ever go off road, plus their fuel consumption and handling are crap!

Worked out the gas price conversion yesterday for my US based buddy. The UK pump price is running at $5.66 for a US gallon!!! Hence the reason for all the small economical cars over here in Europe...

Koogie, get your wife a car, not a tank, and then whats left over can be used for more EBMM's!!! :D

Bush...remember Kyoto!!!

$5.66??

People out this way whine, yell and moan when it goes above $2.25!

I take mine on dirt roads, nothing too challenging, just off the beaten path and some great scenery.

Also, it's perfect for hauling my aquarium tank water from store to home...

and, of course, my Luke's, Axis Supersports, and amps and crap :D

Funny thing happened today....wife took a H2 for a test drive....she hated it!! She is a truck fanatic, but she said it was not user friendly for her. Took much effort for her to drive......now she is looking at a Trail Blazer.....she drove one of those today and it is 4 wheel drive to boot. BTW, my wife likes to off road and she does have a specific truck for that, but likes a 4 X 4 just in case. We do get a little flooded out here from heavy rains, hurricanes, and noreasters.....

Plus, I can buy more EBMM guitars now! heheheheehehheheh......HAHAHAHAHAHA...... :D

I have always had to have one to carry my bass gear in. Can't really stack amps, basses and accessories in a coupe now can we? Yes, the fuel consumption is bad, but you sure won't catch me in no minivan!

I have no problem driving my minivan to haul gear- better for the earth than any suv, and great gas mileage. plus i look really cool taking my Silo SP out of the back.

Let me make a prediction (no response required!):

Mincer votes Kerry

Bassplyr votes Bush Laden

I'm amazed that all the musicians in the UK have managed without SUV's for so long... how do they fit in all their gear???

OK, thats it, I've wound you guys up enough...but this is how the world outside the US views your over-the-top consumption of resources.

Back to guitars.....phew!
