Man that sucks. I would not let this slide. Use legal services or call EB for a possible fix. But you shouldn't have to pay for it.

Sorry to hear about your situation dude, hope it works out for you someway. That's one of the reason why I don't modify my EBMM...............

Just too much... I bet we all have a few horror stories somewhat in the same vain.. but this one is pretty bad...

Good luck in correctly handling this situation. You certainly should be legally compensated...

OMG. Good on you for keeping your head and not getting violent on the guy1

How bout some further back shots so we can see it in context.

Did he leave the lip to feed the 'foot' of the SC's in under a ledge?

Yeah he did leave the lip ( he was told to and said he could do it nicely but he ended up using crap tools without asking my ).

I will try to get more pics tomorrow.

I think he means how the guitar looks when the pups are installed etc. I can see it's horrible but with those closeup shots it is hard to tell how it looks when the job is really finished.

I really feel sorry for you man, Luke I's are such nice guitars:(

You can't see the Pup cavitys when the pups installed. You can see the damage on the finish on top of the guitar, and the backplate and the edges around it looks like ****.

I don't think it matters if you can't see all the damage when everything is in place. It's still ****ed up and doesn't work probably. If I'm gonna sell the guitars ( which I'm gonna probably gonna do ) I have to find someone which fixes as much damage as possible. It's newer gonna look pretty though, but it could be better from the outside.

this guy REALLY needs a good old fashioned.....um....(insert mafia abuse of choice here).

Yeah, if I was gonna die tomorrow, I would make some phone calls and arrange something for him

It's just so much that sucks about this. These are my babies, I have emotional band to these guitars, it's tough to see them like this.

They are also my only 2 guitars who I use for everything, and I gig like 6 times a month!

Plus I will have to pay about $5500/4300 euros to replace them with new MM guitars. And belive me, right now I can't even afford to buy the pickguards.

I actually did call Music Man but nobody anwsers. Personally I don't want 2 new bodies. There was a reason I wanted to do the mod. If I get t2 new bodies I will have to sell the guitars without pickups. I have sold the originals.

I want money compensation for new guitars, or replacement guitars that would fit the specs that the guitar would have if the mod was done right:

Alder body
Passive HSS Dimarzio pickups
Tremolo
Big frets

Only guitar that's like that is the Silhouette Special.

That's terrible. I'm really sorry. I'm afraid to have any work done on my guitars, because I don't really trust anyone anymore.
