I know its just a cosmetic mod but some asked for pics when it was done and I said I would post them.

The guitar came stock with Cream hardware and I changed it all to Black.

I’m still not sold on it so some opinions would be appreciated. My only cost was $15 for the knobs and the covers were generously sent to me from fellow Canadian Knucklehead grumpyoldman. Its a 10 minute fix to change it back to all cream.

Lastly, this Black Cherry Burst finish was hard to capture its true colour. The flash brightens the deep, dark red to almost a regular red. I tried and I couldn’t get it but you get the gist of the mod.

i think sometimes it's just the little things that take it from a great guitar to an excellent guitar.... i'd say keep the black!

Black for sure is sharp ! There are a few ways to photograph to get the colours right on. One way is to mess around with the shutter speed using a tripod. It's probably different on all digital cameras, But my Cannon with the shutter speed set to the last settting will flutter the flash and keep the shutter open longer. It will darken everything in the backround and produce a sharp colour image thats right on. You just have to use a tripod and go through the settings. I'm no photographer, But Sometimes I get lucky.:)

Thanks for all the comments guys & Beth.

I have to say that the Cream looks better in the pics cause the red is so vibrant. In person, its dark and the Black just works.

I tried experimenting with my Canon to show the true darkness of the BCB but I got nothing.
