I apologize for the misleading thread title (haha, not really), but my other tangerine pearl Bongo arrived today and I wanted to take this opportunity to show off the twins. Obviously, I had to dress them separately so you could tell them apart.

Yes, the fretless does have the compensated nut.

Very nice pair! Like most EBMM colors, it appears that Tangerine Pearl is hard to capture in a photograph. Your pair of gorgeous machines look very different when comparing the kitchen to the bedroom shots! I love the sparkle!

I guess it depends where you consider them redundant. One being fretless and one being fretted is enough to make them not redundant for me.

A Bongo H sounds completely different than a Bongo HH (or maybe HS). The locations of the humbuckers are different - thus making the basses soundwise very distinct.
