My Petrucci showed up today. Of course I had to run right out on my lunch hour to pick it up. All the waiting and all I can say is WOW. Now I can't wait to get home and see how it plays.

Thanks for putting up with my whining ass while I waited 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days...

By my count Norm has 8 with no intentions of buying another unless ernie ball shows him somthing special. (30th anniversery Silhouette?)
Jimi has 8 and is expecting delivery on his ninth.
ernie 1966 just posted a picture showing "his" pettruccis and I counted 9

Here's a quick shot of my PRB Petrucci. I'll get some more detailed shots of the headstock and neck and post them.

I just happened to get this one when my fiance took a pic of it and gave it to me in a heart shaped frame for Valentines day. She said she always wanted me to have a picture of my sweetheart on my desk at work. Funny girl...

The guitar plays like a dream. Much nicer than what I had tried out at the local Guitar Center. You know it really pains me to see the abuse they allow to happen to some really nice guitars. I looked at a fully loaded Mystic Dream and it was beat to ****. Someone had apparently played with the neck and the strings were laying on the frets from like the 10th on up.

I am really impressed with the Traynor. It sounds terrific. The clean tones are incredible. I plan on throwing a distortion pedal in front of it to help out the overdrive channel. It sounds pretty good like it is, but I'd like to have a little more growl. It's an amazingly loud amp for 40 watts. Gotta love all tubes.

I love the pickups on the Petrucci. When I split the bridge and neck pickups, it has the warmest tone I've ever heard.

The piezo is such a cool option. I'm thinking about picking up an acoustic amp and using a splitter box and volume pedal to fade in and out of the piezo. I had read about doing that on the Petrucci forum and it seems like a good idea.

I guess it's time to start looking for another one. I'm feeling a little embarrassed being a one "ball" man... Maybe an Axis or Silo... who knows. I just know that I've been hit real hard by G.A.S.

I'm just using 2 chords, one running from the magnetic output to my pedal board and another running to my LR Baggs Para DI into my acoustic Amp (or PA). I'm having some issues with my acoustic amp, so I'm looking forward to playing the piezo through the PA at church.

My Axis SS plays like a dream (VERY fast neck). I'm still not happy with the intonation though. I'm going to change strings and see if that helps.
