Backstraps!!

Or provisions for a back strap attached to the case? A backstrap is kinda essential for me and my case needs.

I suppose a snowball has a better chance in hell than MM changing the design specs for the case to include backstraps. I've had to buy two alternative cases to go with my new Stingray Specials. I sold the first MM Mono case, but I want to hold on to the second one from my most recent purchase.

I suppose I shouldn't be complaining as I also bought a Mono Dual Bass case for carrying two basses when traveling out of town.

Anyone know the reasoning or logic behind the backstrap omission?

Admittedly I've not seen one of the Mono cases in the flesh, but it looks less useful than a hard case, being bulkier, an odd shape, and probably less durable in situations such as being transported in a van with other gear. I'd prefer EBMM to offer a Mono gig bag as an option.
