Quick question Joe, which is your favorite? And do you like the floyd ones or the hardtail better? I personally need a floyd on my guitars, but not always.

which is best? can't tell you that. because of the different neck- and fretboard woods, they are all a bit different in feeling and sound.
only the de-purple burst and the purple sunset are the same kind of guitar, but i set the de-purple to flowting bridge and the purple sunset rest on the top - like on the EVH and Axis guitars.
the PDN is a different kind of truth - totaly different woods, stainless steel frets, new tremolo (which btw. is great!)

for the show tomorrow, i´ll take the Dark Lord with me, because of the fatter neck, it has a bit more "balls" in its sound, and we play metal! so a black guitar matches better as a purple one.
the black sugar is awesome as well, the ebony gives it a bit more attack....and the tobacco is a mid-range monster!
so as you see, it´s really hard to tell, which one is best - they are all great.
for a five hour show, i would pick the PDN because of the lighter weight.
