It is just appeared on used market in my area. The owner said that it is custom axe presumably made for Randy Jackson in '88. Almost nothing special but yellow color, white knobs, laquered neck and push-pull on the volume knob.

Woah.

If you don't take it would you mind p.m.ing me the ad's URL or whereever it appeared?

I'm a sucker for actually painted necks.

Now that's cool. An LE or PDN *exactly* like that bass might force me to make unpleasant decisions about my current collection.

Ба гитара Music Man Stingray 5 1988 Limited купить | angeldust.com.ua - ба гитары и гитары купить

It is now located in Ukraine. Too high price for me. If you will buy it - send some marines in addition to your money. We need some support against those mad russians))

Interesting! Doesn't look like there's a serial number on the bridge. (Having said that, the saddles are set quite forward, so the number might be hidden.) Neck plate is of the slightly later variety.

Embossed number (serial number?) on the back of the headstock - I haven't seen that before (on an EBMM).

Would be great if someone from EBMM could shine some light on this!
