Off Topic Things to do in Cleveland?

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on places to go in Cleveland ... other than Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame, Wilbert's and Dr Z Amplification ... as I will be making the trip down there in June.

1. alice coopers cooperstown cafe right by the r&r hall and
2. HOGGY'S restaraunt it's 20 min. away but the best food I've had in years all BBQ!
I'm from chicago so it's hard to impress us!

HELLO Cleveland...

Rollercoaster capital of the world is Cedar Point in Sandusky OH if you're into that kinda thing. Not a far side trip. About an hour drive to the west.

Speaking as a Clevelander...

There is always good live music. One place to check out is the Beachland Ballroom.

There are a couple of decent blues clubs downtown, Fat Fish Blue is a good one and the Grog Shop is decent as well.

Jazz, not so much...

Rock, grab a Cleveland Scene or the Plain Dealer when you're here and see who's playing.

For old cars there is always a Car show going on in Brunswick or Medina, about 45 minutes south.

Sports, are all downtown, the Indians this time of year.

For BBQ Hoggy's is good. Unfortunately the Westlake / Avon store closed, but the one in Independence is still going strong.

For beverages, take your pick. Some good breweries in this area.

very cool - thanks for the info .... my plans are to hit the Beachland Ballroom to catch Junior Brown and the show later by Living Stereo ... and maybe get another of the classic Beachland t-shirts to add to my collection ... had a blast when I was there last year .... just hope they let me back in this year
