Seen the Thread afterwards so I don´t wanna repeat.
Pics of mine in the sig.

concerning the switching: a flash graphic under PG Test: Music Man Steve Morse Signature Modell (scroll down). It´s in german but I think the switching is understandable

Eya Butch,long time.
Well with all respect I think the switching system would be to complicated for a seasoned tele-whacker like yourself :p
Whatever you decide I know you will make it sing ;)

It is the main sold body I use with my band in the studio and live. I have put DiMarzio Area 58 and 61s in there for the single coils. I also use RMC hexaphonic pickups in the bridge to drive the synth and for piezo. Best neck of any guitar I have ever played from Tylers to Andersons. It feels great with both .010 and lower .009 set-ups to me. The Morse humbuckers are killer for the spectrum of gain tones. Extremely articulate. I recently had the pleasure of touring the EB factory. It felt liek a big custom shop! Here's one good, clear shot of my slightly modified axe and ego rig it drives!

I've been wrestling with the idea of replacing it with the AL bridge pickup :)

The AL bridge pickup is a Duncan Alnico 2 Pro with a metal strip underneath. You might think about a Duncan Twang Banger. It's an Alnico 2 Strat pickup but with a little more output and fatness than the APS-2. It also has a real copper-plated steel baseplate.

Absolutely the best electric guitar I own.

I'm waiting for a regular Morse in sapphire black to show up.

I was looking at the wiring the other day and I didn't see a coil tap. Have the pickup specs changed?
