This forum always amazes me as to how generally nice people are here. Not just nice, but for the most part in my experience here, respectful. I was at another forum and got completely bombed by uptight and stuck up users for my choice of getting one of my guitars signed by DT. Its my business, my favorite band, and a cool opportunity, so what if its an expensive guitar, its MY guitar.
Here at the EB forum its always nice to see forum users respectful of other users.
Besides, its a forum to showcase and share experiences about the company and it's products, not a contest, not a place to diss others for dumb reasons.
I think part of it is because people are generally so happy with their purchases here that there isn't much need for animosity. Unlike some other places I've been!

But yeah, not really a rant, just thought I'd share this is THE go to forum compared to others.
Thanks EB!

I think that you are spot on.

There is a lot of respect here, and the forum is very well run.

I too am most impressed with CS and the UK Distributors S & T - they wholly participate in the threads & answer our PM queries.

I like it here - and spend too much time here ha!

Amen, bro. Everybody here is always cool and can have intelligent difference in opinions without taking anything too seriously. It's only rock 'n' roll. I might just sign my own guitars to get other forums worked up. :)

Here's a fanboy response. :) I figure that the forum is an extension of BP's personality. Because he is such a genuinely sociable person, the forums are a reflection of that. There are plenty of other guitar sites that don't have good forums, not because they don't make good guitars, but because their presidents/heads don't come down to our level.

I like this forum a lot. I don't post much here but I am always lurking, specially the left handed JP thread :D.

IMHO, don't listen to people that tell things like that. You paid for your guitar so you can do whatever it pleases to you.

DT is Dream Theater.
They were really nice to meet. Good guys.
I remember JP said "hey, nice guitar!"
when I was getting it signed by Mr. Petrucci, he was commenting on the guitar and I said "Yep, but I can't wait till your guitar is ready for orders in lefty"
he said something along the lines of "huh? I didn't know it was available in lefty"
I said something like "Yeah, its all over the EBMM forums"
blah blah blah.
But they were real nice guys and it was cool to tell JP about his guitars being made in lefty. He seemed excited from what I could tell.

One of my Pets is signed by Mr. Petrucci and both of my Morses are signed by Mr. Morse. Good thing those were my guitars.

I live a culturally sheltered life and one of the very few places I have social contact with people is here. It's the only place I think is cool enough. I'm glad you are here too.

It's a reflection of the company and these artisants. It's full of people who take the life with the smile and who like those great instruments.

It seems idiotic to me to have a guitar like a Petrucci, Al, Luke or Morse and pass up the opportunity to have it signed by the artists that inspired those models.

I look forward to having JP sign hopefully all three of my guitars. That would be oh so sweet.

Exactly, i can't ask more for this luxury, chat and interact with fellow Musicman lover around the globe and not to mention the Boss himself watching over you :D.. hello BP ..
