Usually not. There's a RW FB Axis BFR here in Korea with a figured maple top. I thought it was a but odd too, but it appears they do exist. Just not plentifully.

The description had me scratching my head. combination of maple, basswood and mahogany I think someone mistook the rosewood neck for mahogany.....or it's a really, really unique guitar indeed!

Probably referring to the mohogany tone block that the BFR models come with. The body is bass wood with a mohogany tone block and then there is the maple top.
