I thought I had been imagining things, but I did read it somewhere that the 25th Anniversary bass also had a chambered body.

Here is what it says on the Thomann website link here:
MUSIC MAN 25TH ANNIVERSARY BASS 5 HSS - U.K. International Cyberstore

MUSIC MAN 25TH ANNIVERSARY BASS 5 HSS
Music Man 25th Anniversary Bass 5 HSS E-Bass, 5 string, Ash with Mahogany Tone Block Body, Body with Tone Chambers, Quilted Maple Top, Maple Neck, Matching Hedastock, Rosewood Fretboard, 1 Music Man Humbucker and 2 Music Man Single coi Pickups, Active/Passiv Switch, 3x Pickup switch, Long Scale 864 mm, Frets 22, Nut width 44,5 mm, Finish Venetian Red Burst, incl. Case

-----------

Have they got it wrong or is it true? Who can confirm that? Thanks

In the teaser thread when it was being developed, the initial plan was to chamber it and I believe they tried it. I think they ended up liking the complete solid body sound better so that's the way they ended up making the basses.

If I am not mistaken, the 25th guitars are chambered.
