This video/song/album from Tears for Fears was a serious inspiration in purchasing a SR5.

Just listen to some of the drum beats and turnarounds on "Songs from the Big Chair" are really amazing. I revisited that recording many years after it came out and was blown away when I really started to critically listen.

I recently watch the dvd of Bowie's 2004 Reality tour. Gail Ann Dorsey's tone and playing were awesome. She used a stingray 4 and 5 for all the tunes but 1.

Here is one of my favorites bands...bass player is using a SR5, looks like a Pacific Blue Burst with matching headstock. They sound a bit like Coldplay here (I dig the sound).

Gail Ann Dorsey also played on this song by one of my favorite bands:

I don't know if she used her MMs or not. She's not in the video, but good odds that it's the MM.

Funny thing about the video is that apparently they did not get permission to walk out on the "gargoyles" and there were no safety nets or anything. When they realized what was going on, they freaked. I do believe that's the Chrysler Building in NYC.

Watching that dud walk out on the gargoyles made my legs feel weak...I'm very timid of being up high!
