I'm playing a gig with (Chuck) Psychoward on the 12th of October!

My resume is looking much better.

Anyone in the DFW area, we'll be at the Euless Yacht Club (in Euless, I'm almost sure) on the 12th of this month.

How can you not want to see a band called The Buckholes?

Oh, and yes, I'll be playing a Music Man or two.

Shield your eyes. And make sure you wear the special left-hand correction lenses or you're going to get all confused.

Remember, any band with more than one bass in it MUST play Big Bottom. It's, like, a law or something.

Pics or it didn't happen.

whats chuck doing in dallas?

Oddly enough, he lives here now! Which is really great for me. Not quite sure how he feels about it just yet. He talks a lot about the traffic. He uses a lot of bad words when he talks about it, too.

For those who don't know, Chuck is best known as a keyboard/wind/sax guy, which is what he will be doing with us, although I certainly won't mind if he wants to bring a bass and lemme get a drink or three.

BP, Beth took a gig here in Dallas in June, and I've been back and forth between our retirement home in Virginia. The kids live in Greensboro NC and we still have a house in TN. I haven't acclimated very well to Dallas, but hanging out with Jack will certainly be a big help.
It is true that I have trouble with the traffic here, in the mountains of Virginia everyone drives five miles an hour under the speed limit due to the deer population. Here everyone laughs at any posted speed limit, think driving like Batman or you stole something and trying to out run the police. I gotta get a faster car.
I haven't been playing for months with all the moving and issues back home, but Jack and band kindly offered to let me play with them. I hope there is no law in Texas against musical murder, because I'm going to be guilty.
