I told myself i'd never sell my AL SSS but all this AL HH talk has forced me to buy a coral one and sell the SSS. I wish I could keep both but finances won't allow it. I think I will like the HH more. I like single coils alot but I am pretty sure I can get some nice clean sounds with the HH along with some great dirty sounds.

The AL HH has to be hands down the tweak of the decade. Not only am I still waiting for mine to arrive, but the guitar is all over the place as the ax to get. Which is great for EBMM, Albert Lee (class act) and also all of us.

Can't wait, I actually had a local sale set up for my SSS AL but I backed out before the guy came over. I may decide to keep both. I could let my white silo go but I just love that thing. We'll see what the boss says:D
I have a feeling the Coral color will not go un-noticed

I approve of you keeping both. Just tell your wife that some woman on the guitar board said it was ok to do so. I am sure that will take care of it. lol

I am working towards having two ALs, my MM90 and a HH (or HHH) in the future.
You can't have too many guitars. Having owned an early Silo and an early AL SSS in the past, for me an AL wins over a Silo every time. Keep them. Or maybe trade the SSS for a MM90 AL.
Tell your wife that all the folks you know have more guitars than you do.

I traded my AL sss to fund a DDII Luke (had to have that before they all were gone). I realized I could not live without it, so I've got another AL sss on order now in a different color combo. Unfortunately, it won't be here till March.

I think a every one here needs a single coil in the stable. just for the fact some of my favorite records were done with a single coil. good luck.
