Tommy and Janice have been through hell, that's for sure, but as Pete said, Thomas is stabilizing and heading the right direction and looking much better than the end of last week! We'll just keep praying things keep going well.

I wish I could do more. I can say that Thomas has the "A" team taking care of him, and that is comforting.

Tommy asked me today to post an update. Thomas is moving in the right direction, slowly but surely. He underwent a 4th surgery last week and that seems to have been the charm. He is still in intensive care, but is stable and improving daily and the docs are starting to talk about getting him out to the floor, possibly even next week.

It has been a rough road for sure, so far, but Tommy and Janice are hanging in there. The support everyone has been sending through the forum, emails and phone calls has helped tremendously, and they are very appreciative.

Glad to hear that he's turned a corner. I remember when my younger one got hit by a car, and underwent a similar amount of surgeries, what a tumbling experience, but the support has always been so helpful.

hi folks,
we are making some progress.
tomorrow we will be in surgery AGAIN......to finally close up for some healing.if all goes well..........we will be back in surgery AGAIN........to re-assemble the healed plumbing.(6+ months down the road)
still ALOT of hard work ahead for him ........but ....at last we can FINIALLY have a definitive course...........& if all goes well......he will be out of icu & awake again next week.
i'm sorry i had to get sharon to do alot of updating for me...but i knew she could do a much better job of summarizing than me.........& i was right.(fyi.she's an angel)
i do wanna thank poppa & everyone for being there & all the massive support. it has helped me tremendously to keep a reference point to reality.
i do treasure this place.
