I have some questions about this wah. Is it good for everything? I play mostly rock, but like to dabble in all genres. I love Dream Theater and love Petrucci's wah tone. Can this wah get close? Also, is the EB wah and VP Jr the same size? Share your thoughts. Point me to some clips too if possible.

Yes they are the same size. I love the EB Wah. It covers a lot of ground with its extra sweep range. It has sweet fat tone that doesn't get harsh. That's why I got it. The range and no harsh treble end was a win win for me.

Dec 1991 i got my first wah, had 3 ever since and thought I had found my perfect model - till i saw the blues saraceno demo of the EB wah -

It sounds exactly as it does in this video - and you need one in your life this is double what I paid for any other wah pedal , and I battled with whether a pedal could be worth it.... - However it REALLY is, I cannot say enough good things about this pedal, and I want to make porno soundtracks every time I switch it on!!! - The lights on both sides are cool and make your pedalboard look funky, I'm a size 12 shoe and my foot covers it perfectly with no slip off like other ones, I will only ever use an EB Wah from now until my legs stop working - and this is not a fanboi comment this is 'how it is for me' - very rare to get kit that sounds the same in your house as it does in a demo video!!!!

To answer your question shortly. No

But you can get pretty close.

If I recall correctly, JP is using a Dunlop Rack Wah no?

I own the EBMM Wah and the VP Jr (they sit neatly side by side) and I love what the wah can do. For Rock/Blues its perfect. It's not as creamy as say a Budda Wah, or as harsh as a GCB-95 Cry Baby, but its very strong inbetween.

It has LED's, a longer sweep, and true-bypass and I say you've got a winner.

Thanks for the replies and especially the video! I'm actually buying one from Petruccirocks02! I should have it next week. Can't wait to add it to my pedalboard right next to the VP Jr!
