For me i wouldn't even have to consider that one, as Parker guitars don't do anything for me, They're ugly and everyone i've ever played doesn't play nowhere near as nice, and sound as nice as my EBMM's. The Silo Special would be the way to go for me even if i liked Parker's just because it's a more versitile guitar. Just my opinion's.

the USA ones are.
the Korean ones are cheap, and pretty good quality. They rate very well.

Wait now, please don't tell me your comparing an EBMM to an Asian import...just wait untill the neck starts to buzz like mad due to some weather changes, and you try and adjust it, you'll regret it...but that's just me!

NOT AT ALL! Nothing I've ever played compare to the feel of a EBMM

It's just that I've been waiting for a guitar for over a year (researching)
and the Parkers are $500-600 CND with piezo! and the EBMM are $1500 ++
I know the Subs are cheaper but I don't really like them for me.
If I have to wait any longer I'm gonna die!!!
I was thinking more of buying it to hold me off a while.
I still want a EB!! :D

I believe it.

I just don't know how much longer I can ask my daughter to borrow her guitars for my fix! :p

Keep asking and when you get your EBMM you'll be happy that you did. There is no way a Parker (yes, I have played a few) is gonna compare....save yourself the money and ride it out.

I understand the need though for substitution, the only reason I purchased a Wolfie was because it was an inexpensive substitute for an Axis...plus my hands feel more comfortable on the thicker neck...but my point is that you shouldn't compromise on imported guitars, cause it'll hurt you in the end. In fact there's a dude selling his Axis on the forums for 500.00...

Don't settle for the Parker just to hold you off. Keep saving for your EBMM. You will feel better in the long run. All the EBMM with piezo are around $1500???

DUDE!! i bought a wolfgang instead of a EBMM EVH 5 years ago and it was the biggest mistake (with guitars :) ) i have ever made. EBMM guitars some of the best quality guitars i have ever played.

hold out for the EB!! you won't be sorry! :)

I have owned a Parker NiteFly (USA) and a Fly Classic... I actually prefered the tone of the NiteFly - the anorexic Classic just sounds THIN to my ears!! Of course, I own neither one now, as they were both sold off long ago to fund other guitars that were eventually sold to pay for my EBMM habit, but I will say that neither Parker ranks as one of the guitars I occaisionally regret letting go of (unlike my Luke, or my first and fave Floral Jem). Parkers are interesting, and unique, but they didn't suit me at all....

Thanks for throwing ice in my face! and giving me a good slap! ;-)
I knew you guys would shake me out of it somehow.
Why else would I be so foolish to post such a things at an EB website!
I'm trying to not let my desperation get the best of me!
