He was a feature @ TB.

Since Jack did mention Warwick in his poll, which I took as a sign he wanted to reminisce about Nick, got any good stories?

Well there was the time he claimed Nickelback was amazing and Mike Kroeger has the best , most intense, pile drivingly heavy growly tone ever and he wants to make his bass sound like that.

Then he boguht a Spector euro neck through and continued to bash the bass because it overloaded his amp and even though we told him to turn downt he gain on the preamp and that its boost-only so he should not put everything on 11, he failed to listen because 'daddy knows best'

That is a good one. Sounds just like he was here. 'cept he kept putting down EBMM basses and was asked repeatedly why he was wasting bandwidth here if he didn't like EBMM basses with nary a good answer.

Oh well. Life is a giant bell-curve.

Red, Jack. You really should get a bass in a color that will give your personality a run for it. (I hope you read that as a compliment)

Has Jackie already ordered what he wants? Is he just teasing us?

No, I haven't ordered yet. Well, I did, actually, then freaked out and retracted it because I really didn't have the money.

(I bought a Korg Triton, which should be here by Valentine's Day, but that's another story.)

I'm still on the fence, although I am leaning heavily towards the single H Graphite Pearl Bongo 5.

But red does appeal to me. What does Tiffles say?

And could we kind of....um....lay off the Nick talk? I'm afraid if we say his name three times, he'll appear again.

Funny, I was getting that feeling as well. Mums the word.

PS: Tiffles voted red.

I think they must be. I've been through a number of Korg workstations, starting with the venerable M1 and on to the 01/Wfd so I'm looking forward to the Triton. I was in a local music store the other day and had two Tritons going on in some kind death-match and it was too much fun to ignore.

But I've been in love with Graphite Pearl for so long now...ah, it's going to be a hard decision. Still - it's hard to make a bad decision.

Check your PMs.

Jack, Red is nice but BP's bass was a thing of beauty... ok, so it was really the setup (which was amazing), the sound (amazing again), and the amount of booze we consumed (which was beyond amazing) - but it is a very nice looking bass. True fact of it is that as long as you are in the single H family the color doesn't matter.

I'd really like to hear your comments on a dual pup StingRay. Even Lord Bongo must be tempted to pick up another bass besides a Bongo.

Jackson kind sir, you need what I covet, a SR5 HH. Knowing you, this could benefit me, when it becomes available down the road. :)

Ahh..NTB stories, I would't even know where to start. He was my personal puppet on TB for a while!

Get the single H in Graphite Pearl. You'll eventually sell anything else, and you know you like that config and color. So sayeth the Toe.
