I love how you guys inexplicably name YOUR OWN HOMETOWN.

I don't know, BP, but a major hub nearby (ease of flights) would be great. Not sure Kentucky works, heh heh.

Time frame? Thinking of weather....you know, Chicago in January, Coachella in August, those sorts of DISASTERS.

SLO is always beautiful and I hear there is a factory there.

I'm always in for SLO and it means no transportation for tons of instruments, amps, Lincolns.....

Here's my thoughts for what its worth:

SLO:

+ Slo is a small town so everyone being near eachother would be way easier. w/ a range of hotel/motel prices (like at open house)
+ getting to venues would be easy
+ The factory is there
+ its pretty there

SLO is close to SF and its an easy drive for me so that would be ideal. so thats a selfish + in my book.

Chicago

+ its a rad city
+ its a big city... people can scatter and do lots of stuff in between events
- we'd have to try and coordinate hotels like for Dallas but that would be fine

Kentuky...

never been. id like to check it out :)

Personally i think topping the atmosphere and weather in SLO would be hard.

BTW did i mention im excited!!!

I would without a doubt attend if it was on the east coast. As Bass Control said, DC would be pretty good I think. I'd definitely attend. I def. don't have the cash to come out to the west coast though.(

KENTUCKY??? that could get real ugly (rumor has it there are some BIG stills in them there hills) - Actually, why not say Nashville???

Chicago and Cleveland would be very cool (could you picture BP leading us knuckleheads through the Rock and Roll museum????) . not to mention airfare to Chicago and Cleveland should both be cheap (esp Chicago).

Despite what Jack said, I will not list Cincinnati - some ok stuff but just not a knucklehead gravitational point (I would love it if it were here though - so would Kermit)

But since it is Jan. might I suggest some place warm (if we must leave the confines of SLO) a say... Miami?!?!?!

Any big city that I can fly into is fine with me. Los Angeles, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, NYC...

Or how about Las Vegas!

Australia!!!! - Only joking

Ok what do you guys think....SLO......chicago......kentucky....lets bounce around some ideas

1.Slo - EBMM Factory :D
2.Chicago - Lakland Factory :(
3.kentucky - KFC Factory

I vote Number 1.

My only 2 concerns are Ease of getting there and around (being from overseas) and Given plenty of time because I need a month or 2 to inform the company I work for my leave plans.

But hopefully openhouse Mark 2

or Coachella - is that where the BP MM Vault is???

I'm thinking somewhere near Indio/Palm Springs(mabye Casino Morongo?) or the obvious choice SLO. Like Arin said SLO was an awesome place for the Open House and for the Forumites who have not yet seen the factory it would be an experience they would never forget....:)

I had to miss the Open House at SLO so I'd love a chance to see the factory and gaze at some of the prototypes. I'd be more interested in the Lotus than the Lincoln.

I could die in jail in Las Vegas and be a happy man. I almost didn't survive last year's SEMA show.
